OVERNIGHT: FROST ALERT
Mainly clear
Lows: 35-44
Winds: Light
A clear, cold, and moonlit night is ahead with overnight lows falling into the upper 30s to low 40s. You may want to cover or bring in any plants that could see damage due to the low temperatures. A Frost Advisory is in effect from 2 a.m. until 9 a.m. for counties along and west of I-95. A Freeze Warning is in effect for Page, Shenandoah, Augusta, and Rockingham counties for temperatures as low as 28 degrees.
THURSDAY: Mostly sunny
Highs: 64-69
Winds: Northwest 5-10 mph
After a chilly/cold start to the day, abundant sunshine and lighter winds will help temperatures climb into the mid- to upper 60s, making for a nearly perfect spring day!
FRIDAY: Partly cloudy
Highs: 75-80
Winds: South 5-15, gusts 25 mph
Warmer weather rounds out the week with highs on either side of 80 degrees, thanks to a southerly wind that will be increasing throughout the day. Plan for a mix of sun and clouds for your outdoor plans.
EARLY LOOK AT EASTER WEEKEND: Saturday could be one of the warmest days of the year (so far) with temperatures around 85 degrees. An incoming front that will stall to our north will produce mostly cloudy skies on Saturday and overcast skies for Sunday with afternoon temperatures near 80 degrees. Currently, our next chance of rain is Monday.
